I just wanted to share some smiles from our Grand-Dog. Most of my Facebook friends have seen these pictures at some point but I wanted to share them on my blog as well.
Siggy is a beautiful and feisty Husky that our daughter and son-in-law rescued. He is full of life and mischievousness.

But his most amazing “skill” is this:

Can you spot him?
Yes, he climbs this tree in their back yard, determined to one day catch a squirrel.

He’s so funny!
Never a dull moment with Siggy!

That’s a beautiful dog! That’s so funny seeing him in the trees 😅💕

A unique pup indeed and fun to watch his tree climbing skills that are so cool and unusual!!! God given of course.

The squirrels like to torment him. It’s funny to watch.

Siggy is an interesting husky, seems to be a tree climber. Maybe it is cooler in the trees than on the ground? It sounds like he provides laughs for his parents and grandparents. Siggy and his adventures make for a merry day!

He looks like a cartoon character, always up for fun and adventure. 😀

I love it! That’s a first for me, never heard of tree climbing dog!!
P.S. I’m envious of their green lawn…I’m ready for some warmer weather—green yards, leaves on the trees and flowers in my garden bed!!!

Siggy is quite a character! As for the green grass, down near the coast they have so much humidity and moisture that they have green for most of the year. It’s an unfair advantage! 😁😁

I agree: he’s a handsome boy and very talented. Is he as talented when it comes to obeying?! Our grandpup will come and sit when called, but then thinks her obligation is over, hops up and goes back to playing! 🤣 (I understand this is typical puppy behavior?)

Siggy is somewhat like your grandpup. He will sit for treats, that’s for sure! 😁

A dog that climbs trees- watch out squirrels lol.
What does Aaron think of the dog?

The squirrels like giving all the dogs a hard time but Siggy does make them jump up high in that tree. Aaron loves Siggy but Siggy isn’t sure he loves Aaron. 😁

Siggy, way to give those squirrels an extra run for their money. I’m sure they think twice before entering your yard and climbing your trees. (Patty, with his bandana, Siggy looks like “Super-dog” ready at a moments notice to bring an end to all rodent shenanigans in the neighborhood. These are such fun pictures. Thank you for sharing them)

It was fun to share this crazy dog. Siggy does think he’s Super Dog, I’m sure. The squirrels actually love sitting high in a pine tree in their yard, chew on pine cones, and spit pieces down on the dogs. 😅😅

Oh, Patty thanks for sharing these fun photos. They bring smiles and a memory. Years ago, my son had a german shorthaired pointer that would climb trees. I thought it was hilarious, weird, and funny I’d never known that a dog could climb trees until his dog did.

That’s so funny, Manette. I’ve heard of a couple other tree climbing dogs, as well. I think it’s amazing and fun!

Your daughter was very kind to befriend one of God’s beloved creatures. Her rescue dog certainly has a fun personality!

He is a beautiful dog! I never saw a tree-climbing dog! I have a request. Could you post a video clip of him getting in the tree? Does he just jump up there? What does Aaron say about this? It could fall outside of the way things are supposed to be! Thanks, Patty! Many blessings!

Aaron loves that Siggy climbs this tree. Now if I climbed it he might say I’m weird, but not Siggy. 🙂 I’ll try to post a video.

I don’t know if this link will work but I’ll try. None of our videos actually show Siggy getting in the tree but he just leaps up into it and then climbs as far as he can.

The video worked! I bookmarked it to show my granddaughter. She’s 7. She’ll love it! Thanks!
